Exceedingly Growing Faith Ministries is founded by Rev. and Mrs. George T. Frey. This ministry has its beginning in St. Louis, Missouri, in January of 1993, where it was incorporated as a not-for-profit charitable organization. EGFM began as an outreach ministry to children and families in the distressed areas of the city of St. Louis, where it ministered to approximately 500 children, youth and families, including ministry to children in orphanages, community centers and public schools.
In January of 1995, God began to give direction to the Freys to prepare for a change in ministry. They didn't have any idea what the change would be; only to prepare. In May of 1995 the Freys came to Montreal, Quebec to teach in a Bible School, and it was at this time that the Lord impressed upon their hearts, that this was the place He was sending them to. Gradually, plans and preparations were made for the move to Montreal.
After two more short-term trips to Montreal, holding a crusade and a vision meeting, the incorporation of the ministry in Canada and necessary visas were finalized. On May 29, 1996, the Freys left St. Louis, Missouri with a loaded U-Haul truck, for Montreal, Quebec.
Faith Christian Center of Montreal had its first church service on June 9, 1996, at the Econo Lodge in St. Laurent. It is now 10 years strong and growing, with the start of its second church location in Morrisburg, Ontario, which has its first official Sunday service on, April 16, 2006.
Exceedingly Growing Faith Ministries also hosts an annual Pastors Conference in Kingston, Ontario, crusades, Women's and Men's retreats, leadership seminars, community outreaches and itinerates within Canada and the United States. Future plans of the ministry include purchasing land to build a ministry facility to house all the ministry needs including, a media studio, children's & youth facility, we-care center, café bookstore, and a Bible School.
The ministry has its foundation in the Word of God, teaching and preaching the "word of faith", according to Romans 10:8.
Exceedingly Growing Faith Ministries continues to equip and prepare the people of God to do His work in this earth, as Ephesians 4:12 states from the New Living Bible: "...equipping God's people to do His work, and build up the church..."
